Villa Ivy is a spectacular seafront property ingeniously designed directly on the water’s edge. Newly constructed on three levels the villa is an outstanding example of modern Dalmatian architecture. The house is luxurious and elegant and was created using the best of everything, from the striking crystal chandeliers to the finest stone sinks, beautiful fabrics, and contemporary furnishings. 

Carefully thought out by an International interior designer, every attention to detail and comfort has been considered. Built as a family home, a reflection of modern family attitudes, it has large and incredibly light and airy rooms opening on to extensive terraces, partly shaded, comfortably furnished and very well equipped for outdoor living. 

Created using the finest white Brac stone as seen in the US White House, villa Ivy is one of the few villas given a 5-star categorization by the Croatian tourist board. Staffed with a housemaid and villa host, this is a property in which guests can truly relax and be looked after from the moment they arrive.

Individually and stylishly decorated with uncluttered elegance, all the bedrooms open out onto terraces with fabulous views over the bay of Sumartin and the Biokovo mountain range. Cushions, blinds, and bedspreads are rich and textured, with silks and materials sourced from around the world. 

All the air-conditioned bedrooms have Egyptian cotton linens with opulent bathrooms and plenty of fluffy towels to pamper oneself with after a day in the sea or around the pool.

The stylish kitchen has uninterrupted views over the bay and holds all the gadgets needed to make cooking and hosting a pleasure. The living room combines contemporary furniture, artwork, and sculpture mixed with antique and vintage pieces from France and India.

Outdoors

Moving to the outside area of the property you will find the stone infinity pool with stunning views over its horizon edge to the turquoise bay and mountains beyond. The pool has four infinity edges and an endless swimming jet. Surrounding the swimming pool there are plenty of sun loungers for you to enjoy a lazy day in the sun. 

Being a waterfront property, the villa is perfect for fishing fans who can relax and enjoy fishing from the jetty. The dining terrace has fabulous views of the mountain range in the evening making it the ideal spot to dine on the days catch. Canoes and windsurfing equipment can be used for playing in the bay.

Accommodation

Entrance Level – The two master suits can be found off the main entrance hall. Both benefit from full height glass windows giving access to the stunning sea and mountain views. Blackout curtains open to let sunbeams flood the room with warm light. The beds themselves are king size and benefit from Egyptian cotton linens. Opposite the bed, the TV screen is linked to the central satellite. Both bedrooms have large private balconies with their own seating area allowing guests to take breakfast or just to escape to their own private domain. The bathrooms are a sublime exercise in understated opulence.

Middle Level – The living room and kitchen open on to an outside terrace area. Folding glass doors allow the floor to become an open plan, creating an alfresco living environment. There is the option of dining inside or outside. A glass wine cellar, media room, and office can be found on this level.

Ground Floor – Two further en-suite bedrooms with patio doors leading out on to the main terrace giving panoramic sea views over the pool. Both rooms have large king-size beds which can be made into twin single beds.  A self-contained spa with a sauna, steam room, and gym can also be found on this level.

Special Measures due to Covid-19:
 

- thorough clean of the house in-between any guests
 - disinfection of all surfaces
 - no member of staff will enter the house unless specifically requested
 - all shopping groceries or other necessities can be brought to the house with no additional service fee
 - cooked meals from a personal chef or from a local restaurant can be brought to the front door of the property if requested

PAYMENT TERMS:

30% non-refundable deposit on booking if made more than 60 days before Start Date

Remaining 70% balance to be paid 60 days before Start Date

Where the Booking is made less than 60 days before the Booking Date the Rental Fee shall be payable in full.

CANCELLATIONS:

For 2020. - All bookings will be refunded in full if canceled no less than 7 days prior to arrival.

N.B. Villa Ivy turns down a lot of inquiries due to existing bookings. If any booking cancels, the guests who have enquired before will often have found alternative accommodation. It is often impossible to fill the canceled weeks at short notice.
