How to reach Brač

Traveling by plane

If you travel by plane you have two options. The first one is to land in Split. All major airlines fly to Split airport. If you don't have a car waiting for you we will be glad to organize transport for you or provide you a car rental service.

The other option is to land on Brač airport which is near the town of Bol. This airport is a great solution if you are traveling with a private plan or a helicopter.

Traveling by car

Follow the autobahn towards Split. Once you have arrived in Split, follow the signs for "Tajekt", which is the Croatian word for the ferry. The ferry will take you to the island of Brač, and it docks in the neighboring town of Supetar, which is around 38 km away from the villa Ivy.

Traveling by a taxi boat or ferry

The easiest way to reach the island of Brač by ferry is from two points - Split and Makarska. Makarska is connected directly with Sumartin. When you reach Sumartin you will need approximately 2-5 minutes to reach villa Ivy. Makarska is 64 km south from Split, and it is a faster solution if your plane lands in Dubrovnik.

The ferry from Split goes every hour to the port town of Supetar, which is 38 km away from the villa Ivy and the town of Sumartin. You can always check for the ferry schedule online.
